Waylon came to us in November 2018. He's most-likely a Great Pyrenees and Labrador Retriever mix, complete with six toes on his back feet!
We adopted him through a rescue organization and he traveled from his own state of Texas to Oregon. We quickly found out Waylon is a world class counter surfer, and tall enough to rest his chin on the dining room table. Thankfully, he's also very smart and realized he's not allowed to use the table as a chin rest when we eat.
We're still figuring out what he likes to read--we tried him out with a Bill Cameron book after altering the title to one of his interests, but he prefered his bone.
He's a little shy around new people, but he'll do almost anything for a treat and loves to be petted so it's easy to coax him out of his shell. He enjoys hanging out at cafes and coffee shops, and nothing beats napping on his bed after a long hike.
