War & Peace, in the Pevear & Volokhonsky translation. Bought it yesterday. And I am certainly not going to finish all those unread books on my shelves first.

Re-read all of Harry Potter before the last movie comes out, and attempt to cross more books off my to-read list than I add.

Happy New Year!

Yes. I resolve not to be late for carpool pick-up because I am reading. Well, not very often.

Get all the piles of books off my floor and onto shelves...where these mysterious shelves are coming from or will live, I'm not sure.

Double the number of books I read in 2010. Happy New Year!

I joined a buy and read challenge where I'm supposed to buy at least one book for leisure reading per month, and read at least one book bought in 2011 per month (though I don't have to read books in the same months I buy them).

I also, upon realizing I've read less than half of the books on my research shelves because I have a bad habit of buying anything that looks like it might be theoretically relevant to any idea I've ever had but never finding the time to read them, resolved to read at least 12 research books before I buy any more.

I've set the goal of reading 75 books.

I've actually set a goal to read less and write more. And finish the &^$* novel. TG I don't have TV or it would not even be the half done that it is.

My resolution is to say "No" more than yes to things I don't really care about, and to read more during the DAYTIME so I can sleep when it's dark. :-)

To re-read, and finish, three Toni Morrison novels I haven't read in about ten years: The Bluest Eye, Beloved, and Jazz.

I resolve to never read past 2AM...it makes me look hellish the next day.

To be more aware of every decision I make.

My resolution is to buy more books, period.

I want to support the industry that I want to support me.
