Well, if you want to get anywhere in life, kayaking is certainly a great way to do it. More than that, it is the only way to do it. I think this is a book I would like to read.

I was struck by the title before I saw the picture, though. WITHOUT A PADDLE sounded like he had written the story of my life. I have felt decidedly un-paddled (is paddle-less a word?) for many yeas now. Surely, I thought, there must be a similarly un-paddled soul out there somewhere who had written his memoirs. Then I saw the picture (which is beautiful, BTW) and realized the book had something to do with water.

Great combination. Best of luck with it.

A shark tried to get his paddle? Hmmmm. Interesting.

I think I'll get this one for my Dad the marathon runner. I wonder if he'll notice it's pre-read if I use a bookmark?

I can hardly wait. Right after I glide through Florida's murky waterways, I might dive head first off the Empire State Building.

You do know that you can't go straight down if you jumo off any floor? So you have as much chance as the next lunatic to survive.

Onward into the wilderness.
Okay, so I don't want to commune with the great outdoors.

I wish great success with the book. Not all of us out here are concrete huggers.

Excellent book I'm sure, but not an adventure I'll be trying anytime in the near future . . . kayaks overturn . . . Rebecca doesn't swim. Bad combo! LOL
