It's solitary when you're home alone and no one is around to give you mouth-to-mouth when Janet Reid links to your blog.

Thank you...

Myra, that was beautifully written! :) Janet--thank you for sharing w/ us!

I've been blessed to have a husband sharing my dream, too. Let me tell you, it makes life a lot more manageable with a support team!

I can't top Myra's comment. I wish I could, but it was just too funny.

Yes! Husbands who do chores are ESSENTIAL for women writers. I'm lucky to have one of my own. :)

Janet keeps sending links like this, she's going to tarnish her image.

I was just thinking how we can train our Self to write better amongst the louder chatter, much like the youngest child in a full house sleeps selfishly, deeper when the home is running at full volume.

It's the precious first child that every one whispers and tip-toes around in the intent of giving misguided quiet space.

Is it not too late?

Ahhh...this was great! Thanks Janet. I love baseball and worked in a stadium and she's right, keep your daughters away! Thanks for the link!!!

All right... I'll agree Myra's post reminded me to thank my wife for all she has done to support my writing. In fact, I'm officially inspired to write the lovely gal a thank you letter (my wife! not Myra... sheesh people!).
But, come on, I played baseball... or rather, I sat on the bench and watched others play baseball, and not all baseball players are swinging for the fence. Just warn your daughters off the power hitters.

And the bullpen. All that extra time on their hands. You can only play finger football with sunflower seeds for so long. :)

I notice the correlation between sports dreams and creative dreams. We creative types want to share our inner desires and images with as many people as possible.

Sports is also an art.

Lovely post, Myra, and thank you Janet for sharing your discovery.
