nomenclature

So, what do you call the beautiful blonde who's marrying one of your clients, but is a talented and ably-represented-elsewhere writer herself? Client-in-law? Client-once-removed?

Well, how about we just call her Tasha, and say Andrew Grant is one lucky man.

photo shamelessly lifted from Wilfred Bereswill; don't mention it to him, ok?

I like client-in-law. We had an exchange student live with us ten years ago. Now he's all grown up and married. His wife is our exchange student-in-law.

So does that mean you're officially my agent-in-law? If so, where do I find HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY FAVORITE AGENT-IN-LAW cards?

Thanks for the kind words. But I gotta tell ya, I'm the lucky one!

I knew I saw that photo before! That is one cute couple.

Don't worry. My lips are sealed.

They are so cute, but Will Bereswill is a long time buddy of mine. I'm going to have to tell him you used one of his photos...I'm sure he'd love to know. (Especially, if you'd trade a query for the photo.) :)

And a damn fine photo if I must say so myself.

Being a writer myself I'm positive I wouldn't want to be married to one (just think if we started cycling depression and wounded egos together!) but they look very happy and very well-adjusted.
